Lives & works in College Park, MD

A Christian artist aiming to introduce the inspired word of God to a broken world through pastels, oil paints and photography. Stacey Lane Patterson was born on May 24,1965 in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Landover, Maryland. He learned early in life that he was made to inspire and encourage others. In 1988, he joined like minded students at Morgan State University and founded Alpha NU Omega Inc. Today, there are over thirty chapters with young people worshiping God by understanding their purpose and serving the community. In 1990, Stacey Lane's marriage to Teresa E. Garcia turned his focus to family and filling "the quiver". Since 1993, they've been raising their three daughters and son. In 2013, he returned to the easel and joined the Art Ministry at First Baptist Church of Glenarden where he met John Anderson Jr. who later became his mentor. Now, Stacey Lane demonstrates his skills to other artists and assist in art activities at facilities for the elderly. He also conduct art demonstrations at his son's elementary school. Stacey Lane believes the most beautiful thing is to inspire and encourage others in life through art.
